President - Fondateur

Christophe COTTE

Trained by the "Association Ouvrière des Compagnons du Devoir du Tour de France",
I have acquired over the years a deep mastery of traditional craftsmanship, enriched by modern techniques.

This journey has allowed me to flourish, always driven by a spirit of openness, transmission, and excellence.

After completing my "Tour de France", I founded two companies that have become recognized leaders in the luxury industry:

In 2000, Yachting Creations, specialized in upholstery and leatherwork for the yachting world, as well as for prestigious private residences.

In 2011, I launched CC Design, dedicated to high-end interior decoration, offering refined creations that combine perfect quality with true artisanal ethics.

In 2024, I had the honor of being appointed Expert to the Justice Court of Aix-en-Provence & Marseille.

Deeply aware of the environmental and ethical challenges posed by so-called “high-end” imported goods, I decided to give new meaning to my career by founding "Maison LAC", a French Riviera atelier dedicated to fine leather humidors and watch boxes.

Together with my associate, we focus primarily on the creation of luxury leather cigar humidors and horological preservation system that have an innovative approach within this rarefied field.

Our materials are sourced from renowned French and international luxury suppliers, chosen not only for the exceptional quality of their hides, but also for their commitment to sustainability, animal welfare, and environmental responsibility.

Alain BARBERO

Graduated in business management with a specialization in furniture design and interior joinery, I decided to found my own cabinetmaking company dedicated to fine woodcraft and decorative inlay.

In 1989, I created "SAYES" in France — a true manufacture devoted to the creation of premium cigar humidors.

Thanks to SAYES’s commitment to excellence and precision, I established a collaboration with **Dunhill**, designing exclusive collections for the brand.

This partnership helped us become the second-largest French manufacturer of high-end cigar humidors.

Among our proudest achievements were bespoke furniture pieces for the Garde Républicaine, a unique cabinet made for the King of Burma, and the limited cigar humidors crafted for the final voyage of the ocean liner "Le France".

The company soon gained international recognition, notably through its participation in prestigious exhibitions — including those held in Havana.

Unfortunately, SAYES came to an end following the "AZF factory explosion", which destroyed our neighboring facilities.

Since 2002, I have been working as a project manager in fine woodworking, overseeing major bespoke commissions and architectural projects.

Life often brings unexpected encounters  and it was on shared projects that I met Christophe.

Our friendship, built on a mutual devotion to craftsmanship and precision, naturally led us to join forces  bringing me back to my first passion:

The art of cabinetry and the creation of bespoke furniture and fine cigar humidors.
